1-Hour AC Recharge
Quickly bring your power station back to life in just 60 minutes using any standard AC outlet, powered by
EcoFlow’s advanced X-Stream fast charging technology.
Power All Your Essentials
Deliver up to 600W of output and run 6 devices at once without overload concerns. From 300W AC outlets
to USB-C ports, every plug you need is built in.
Charging Times
EcoFlow RIVER 2 (256 Wh) will happily charge phones, tablets, cameras, laptops, lights, speakers, Wi-Fi routers and other small electronics — and will run small AC devices up to about 300 W (600 W surge with X-Boost). It’s not meant for high-wattage appliances (kettles, hairdryers, most microwaves, big power tools).
What it can power (typical examples & EcoFlow’s estimates)
- Smartphones (≈11 Wh): ~20 full charges (EcoFlow example).
- Mirrorless/DSLR camera (≈16 Wh): ~12–13 charges (EcoFlow example).
- Laptop (≈60 Wh): ~3–4 full charges (EcoFlow quotes ~3.4).
- LED light / 10 W lamp: ~20 hours+ (EcoFlow quotes ~20.5 hrs).
- Wi-Fi router / speaker (≈10 W): similar multi-hour runtimes.
Key specs that determine what you can run
- Battery capacity: 256 Wh.
- AC output: 300 W continuous, 600 W surge with X-Boost (pure sine wave). That limits which AC appliances will run.
- USB-C: up to 60 W (good for fast-charging many laptops/phones). USB-A: ~12 W. DC/car port: ~100 W. Solar input up to ~110 W.
What it won’t reliably run
- High-wattage household appliances like kettles, standard hairdryers, most electric cookers, full-size refrigerators with heavy compressor cycles — these usually need much more than 300 W continuous. Use a larger unit for those.
Practical tips
- Check the device’s rated wattage (or its battery Wh) and compare to RIVER 2’s 300 W continuous and 256 Wh If device wattage >300 W, it likely won’t run (or only briefly with surge/X-Boost).
- Portable-device charge estimates from manufacturers include conversion losses; expect the real-world numbers to be a bit lower than raw Wh ÷ device Wh. EcoFlow already provides practical estimates you can use.
- For medical devices (CPAP, oxygen concentrators, etc.) check the device’s continuous watt draw and confirm compatibility in the RIVER 2 manual — and consider battery systems designed/approved for medical backup.
